IDIOTS!!

Some people are IDIOTS!!
A guy in my 8:00 a.m. Anatomy Class told me that he thought the reason I made an A on my test is because the instructor knows my husband so he GAVE ME AN A! Just the audacity of this statement made my blood boil! WHAT AN IDIOT!! To top off this "intelligent" statement, the instructor doesn't know my husband at all! The things people let come out of their mouth just amazes me sometimes. So what if I was married to the President of the United States, do instructors give A's to the First Lady? Don't get me wrong, I know some people do "things" to advance in this world....and these tactics could possibly work with a professor - if he/she had extremely low moral standards - but to just give someone an A?! I guess this made me so aggravated because I work hard to make good grades....HE'S AN IDIOT!

P.S. I have done some pretty idiotic things myself this week....
For example, I CRIED in class when I read my Memoir out loud to my Writing Group. (IDIOT!)
I also wrote Ms. Smith a note on the bottom of my second draft of my Memoir and referred to her as Ms. Weeks. ???? (IDIOT!) I'm sure I could think of more...but these come directly to mind!

Your blog this week is funny. I would have to agree, we all do stupid things every now and then. The boy in your class is just jealous that he can’t make the grades that you do. I have been in similar situations before and they will get under your skin.

I agree with Michael! But you are not an idiot! Getting my name wrong is understandable--I've had students go an entire semester without learning my name at all! And I know what you mean about the grade thing. Teachers don't like to be accused of favoritism, either!

The worst idiots, though, are the ones who are on the road. I hardly ever use my horn, but Thursday I had to use it three times because people kept doing stupid things--not stopping at stop signs, not yielding on the highway, etc. And don't get me started about the people talking on cell phones while they are driving.
